Perrier on Fire
This cocktail is dedicated to lovers of cognac and new tastes. By diluting the alcoholic strength of cognac, PERRIER opens up its aromatic palette while, at the same time PERRIER’s bubbles awaken the senses for full enjoyment of the delectable blend. The flambé service ritual is a part of MIX-SHOW-LOGY and is dedicated to Jerry Thomas.
Ingredients
- - 1 1/3 oz (4 cl) of HENNESSY V.S.O.P. COGNAC
- - 2/3 oz (2 cl) of chilled PERRIER
- - 1 slice fresh ginger
- - 1 slice fresh lime
- - 1 raspberry COOKAL flaming caramel (a 192 proof caramel-flavored spirit designed for flambés only)
Step 1
Fill an old-fashioned glass with crushed ice and then place a snifter glass over it. Pour 1 1/3 oz (4 cl) of HENNESSY V.S.O.P. COGNAC and add 2/3 oz (2 cl) of chilled PERRIER. The PERRIER will cut the strength of the COGNAC and open up its aromatic palette and flavors.
Step 2
Place the slices of ginger and lime in the cocktail with a raspberry.
Step 3
Before serving, ignite and spray the COOKAL caramel over the cocktail.
