Our responsibility as a mineral water producer begins with protecting and preserving truly unique waters by caring for their ecosystems. This has been our job and our passion since 1863.
Vergèze, a unique terroir
The Vergèze site is located in the Gard, a unique geological and ecological area or “terroir” in the south of France, surrounded by a low garrigue scrubland, villages and farmland.

Natural mineral water resources and their environment are facing climatic challenges.
This is why PERRIER works with hydrogeologists and experts on a daily basis.
Preservation and restoration of biodiversity
Everything in nature is interlinked; if we want to preserve the natural mineral water found in underground aquifers, it is essential to protect the biodiversity of the surrounding basin. For this reason, we have already planted 10,000 trees and hedges since 2020.
Water protection
Ensuring the natural renewal of water and its availability for future generations is essential. This is why we are committed, through sever projects, to retaining more water in nature than PERRIER will use in its activities.
Since their origin, water resources have been naturally renewed by cycle, as a mineral manufacturer we have decided to carry out additional actions to guarantee the regeneration of the spring.
